Join us for an insightful event hosted by the Kent Chamber of Commerce, aimed at fostering civic engagement and empowering voters. This event will serve as a platform for candidates running for the Kent City Council, specifically focusing on positions 1, 3 & 7.

As part of our commitment to a fair and unbiased electoral process, the Kent Chamber of Commerce is excited to present the City of Kent Council Election Forum. With six candidates vying for your votes, this forum promises to provide in-depth insights into their perspectives and priorities.

The forum will follow a structured format, ensuring equal opportunities for all candidates. Our Government Affairs team has meticulously crafted a set of questions that span topics such as Taxation, Economic Development, City Budget issues, and Transportation. These questions will be posed to candidates during the event, allowing them 1-2 minutes to respond. 

The event will be moderated by either our President, John Scully, or our Government Affairs Chair, Michele Hunt. In addition to the prepared questions, there might be an opportunity for audience engagement, as we invite attendees to submit questions related to candidate behavior, policies, or clarifications.

To ensure a smooth event, we kindly request candidates to RSVP their attendance as soon as possible. Please note that due to the structured nature of the event, walk-ins will not be accommodated.
