AREA

DESCRIPTIONS

Dinner

Check in dinner guests; collect door prize entries, distribute programs

Boutique

Arrange clothes, shoes, accessories in appealing manner; assist girls with selections; serve as personal shoppers

Cleanup

Teardown and cleanup in gym (6-7 pm); in dining room (8 -9)

Decorations

Decorate gym with balloons, posters, etc. and dining room with centerpieces, door prizes, gifts

Floaters/Host 

Assist girls needing help; assist where needed; available for rose & gift distribution

Food Service

Assist caterers; place table runners, cake trays/cupcakes on each table

Hair Stylists

Licensed;  cut and/or style only (2 – 5:45)

Jewelry Counter

Assist girls with jewelry selections

Liaisons

Assist service providers/vendors etc. with setup and other needs

Makeup Artists  

Licensed; willing to apply makeup (2 - 5:45)

Manicurists

Nail polishing only (2 – 5:45)

Media

Print, social, media sites, assist any on-site reporters

Photographer

Take candid pictures throughout the event; formal pictures as requested.

Registration

Gym: Assist girls checking in for the event & nametags; handout duffel bags, swag bags, t-shirt and shopping bags. 

Registration (2)

Gym: Check in mentors, chaperones, other guests. 

Salon Assistants

Monitor availability of stations; direct girls to available hair dressers, makeup artist, etc. Prepare individual gift bags 

Security

Willing to walk around the premises especially during the event; male volunteers welcomed.

Setup

1. Friday afternoon: entire gym

2. Saturday – lounge, lobby, dinner area

Volunteer Asst

Check-in volunteers; distribute t-shirts; assign volunteers to areas needing help
